i don't seem to see colors as part of the composition anymore. Somehow it has become a distraction...like an itch that i need to get rid off. I tend to lean toward the tonality and lighting of an image...colors can emphasize on that too but i see black and white or monochrome images express it more strongly. as my memory is degrading i tend to be more inclined into creating images that would signify a moment in time, a feeling, an emotion, rather than a color of blue or red that represents a feeling. to me monochromes do that.

Why do you stray away from color for the most part?

Im not saying its a good or bad thing, just wanted your take on the matter.

You take some of the best B&W photos I have seen on dA. You get the balance of black and white perfectly, which gives your work your signature style. I can come across a photo of yours and know it's yours. Now that's talent.
