June 30 2006...It was the first time in 22 years that Buffalo experienced a Tornado.
I wasn't out there chasing the storm, because there wasn't any warning, and it was only 10 minutes as it passed a portion of our city. We didn't know it was a tornado until 3 hrs later. I thought it was just another regular storm. It did messed up the interstate 90 though. The lightning knotched out a big branch from a tree next to my house down and blocked the street. So that was entertaining... I didn't chase the actual tornado, but I was out on the street while the storm/rain/hail was going on...  I was setting this shot up...Enjoy...I certainly did enjoy the excitement of the storm.. location:my backyard camera: nikon d50 |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
